Light Intensity Tester
The airfield light intensity testing equipment utilizes proprietary patented technology, integrating dynamic light intensity measurement, computer vision 3D measurement, and linear array scanning positioning correction technologies. It meets ICAO Annex 14 standards for real-time online light intensity testing of airfield lights, enhancing inspection efficiency and accuracy. This ensures the proper functioning of visual navigation aids and meets the guidance system requirements for arriving and departing flights. The system is highly intelligent, easy to operate, and fully functional, making it an essential smart testing device for airport lighting stations.
Main Features
High-Precision Dynamic Illuminance Measurement
The system uses a fast-response illuminance transmitter to accurately measure light according to human visual perception. It includes a self-calibrating 16-channel signal conditioning circuit and a high-speed, high-precision A/D conversion circuit. This setup allows for continuous automatic data collection, ensuring the system adapts to various airfield lighting intensities while maintaining long-term, high-precision measurements.
Linear Array CCD Scanning for Airfield Light Positioning
The system uses a high-resolution, high-speed linear array CCD (2K resolution, 18kHz scan rate) with a photoelectric incremental encoder (1024 pulses/turn) for distance measurement. This setup quickly detects the timing and lateral offset when the test vehicle passes over airfield lights, avoiding errors from traditional 11-channel photoelectric detection methods. It reliably corrects cumulative measurement errors and lateral offsets, improving the accuracy of airfield light intensity measurements.
Self-Check and Auto Correction Compensation with Historical Data Management
The system features zero-point self-check functions for sensors and data collection to ensure stability, as well as a power-on self-check to ensure reliability. It corrects for cosine errors and stray light (daylight, ambient light), ensuring accurate and consistent data. The system can save, query, playback, and print historical trends of airfield lights, generating electronic reports that include the status of each light, summary statistics, and details of non-compliant lights. It also supports re-testing, manual data entry for light replacement, and marking the status of re-tested or replaced lights.
Proprietary Professional Testing Software
The light intensity testing software, developed internally, has a user interface and labels in simplified Chinese. It assesses if light intensity complies with the current "Technical Standards for Civil Airport Airfield" guidelines. It can update its evaluation criteria as per new or revised standards. Moreover, the software is customizable to meet specific user requirements.
