Distance Measuring Equipment
The Distance Measuring Equipment (DME), in conjunction with airborne equipment, forms a navigation system that provides aircraft with slope distance information from the ground station. The DME ground station can be used alongside the instrument Landing System (ILS) to provide slope distance information during landing, or in conjunction with DVOR to offer distance information along the flight path.
Features
- Combined with CAO Annex 10.
- Applied for airway (1000 W) and approach (100 W) navigation.
- Dual transmitter, high reliability.
- LCD front panel for parameter setting and status adjustment.
- Cooperates with DVOR/ILS.
- Intelligent power management module (48 V).
- Remote monitoring and maintenance, BIT for all modules.
