Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System
The A-VDGS utilizes laser radar and patented 3D scanning technology to provide safe, efficient and precise visual docking guidance for pilots in virtually all weather conditions. Our A-vDGs provides an automated approach to improve surface satety and reduce the workload of ground crew by speeding up the docking process and reducing delays and errors. The system could enable the key data exchange with airport systems for a smart airport management e.g. airport operation management systems, passengers boarding bridge system, A-sMGCs, and
aircraft stand management system
Features of Apron Management System
- Management Capacity: Hundreds of front-end terminals
- Apron Layout: Graphic display of stand status
- Remote Control: Control of the front-end terminal and manual guidance
- Redundant Design: Automatic main-backup switch in case of failure
- Real-Time Video Monitoring: Complete docking procedure record
- Interface to AODB: For analyzing and distributing flight and stand information; enables upload of block-on/off information
- Connectable to Clock System: Via NTP
- Multi-Level Access Authority Management
- Complete Logging
Aircraft Detection and Guidance Procedure
Apron Obstacle Check: Perform a 3D scan of the stand area before docking guidance to ensure the parking stand is clear. Display a warning in the event of an abnormal condition.
Aircraft Capture: Enable 100% aircraft capturing in the apron area; perform azimuth guiding and speed monitoring.
Aircraft Identification: Verify and identify the aircraft type. Display a warning in the event of an abnormal condition; perform azimuth guiding and speed monitoring.
Distance-to-Go Guidance: The guidance accuracy is 1 m before entering the precise guidance area; the guidance accuracy is 0.1 m in the precise guidance area. Display a warning for abnormal stop positions.
